| Spray Dreyers |
Food and Dairy Tech Spray dryers are relitively simple in operation which accept feed in fluid state and converdit into a dried particulate Form by spraying the fluid into a hot drying medium.
Feed atomisation is done using hige pressure nozzle, high pressue Air, or two fluid nozzle. The heating method of drying air can be of either steam coils or thermic fluid or Air.
Heater according to the service conditions available. The hot air is distribuuted into the chamber from top by an Air Disperser. The fines produced is taken out from the top/centre along with air to a cyclone Separated, finel powder being cllected at the bottom. Additional systems like fines recycling into the chamber for agglomerration, powder cooling, conveying, storage & bagging are optionals. |

| Fluid Bed |
Versatile Drying method (Batch or Continuous Type)
used for drying of high fat products & various types of solids efficintly. It can also reduse the energy requirement of a Spray Drying Plant when used as a second stage Dryer & for Instant quality powders. Fluid Bed Dryer comrises a top fluidising chamber & a bottom air distribution chamber separated by a specially designed perforated plate. The feed of wet material is dried by contact with hot air that is blown through to maintain the material in a fluidised state.
A vibrating mechanism can be attached to give a forward motion cum agitation to the product at a controlled rate. |

| Flash |
A continuou's flow of material is dried by contact with hot air while being transported by the air stream.
A single exhaust fan is used to induce the flow of gas through the heather, uptake pipe, horizontal duct & dust collector separator. if required a cage mill fan can be used as a lump breaker to disintagrate larger agglomerates. For dust collection and separation cyclone or fabric filters are used . In a Flash Dryer, material is in intimate contact with the gas stream for a very short time which makes it ideally suitable to remove free moisture. |

| Spin Flash |
Spin Flash Dryers are ideal of wet cake, slurry, paste which is normally difficult to dry in other Dryers.
The material is fed by Screw Feeder through a variable speed drive into the vertical drying chamber where it is heated by air & at the same time disintegrated by a specially designed disintegrator. The heating of air may be direct or indirect depending upon the application. The dry powder is collected through cyclone/bag filter or with a combination of both. |

| Rotary |
In direct heat Rotary Dryers a continuous feed of wet particulate material is dried by contact with heated air, while being trasported along the interior of a rotating
cylinder, with the roteting shell acting as tthe conveying device and stirrer. Food and Dairy Tech offers Rotary Dryers in co-current (paraller) and counter-curent operation. In the former the wet material is exposed to the hottest air which enables heat senstive or sticky materials to be dried material is exposed to the hottest air helping to achieve very low moisture content. The hot gases may enter at the temperature of 1650 degree.ce |
